Today I answered my first reference question. A woman came in saying that she had searched Google and found none of the information she needed on a person. I used Worldcat to search the name and pulled up some information immediately! Worldcat is a great tool that I feel more patrons need to be aware of.
Other than that I continued arranging the exhibition records and I will soon begin developing the finding aid. Since its Friday how about a video? it's interesting to me because of my fascination with digital preservation. Enjoy!

- I received my M.L.I.S. from Kent State University with a concentration in Archival Administration. Since the completion of my M.L.I.S. I have constructed a digital repository for Cleveland State University, volunteered at the Hudson Historical Society and traced my genealogy back to slavery using census records and slave registers. Currently, I am working at the Mayme A. Clayton Library & Museum where I am processing Mayme Clayton’s personal papers, implementing cloud computing as a method of digital archives management, and digitizing a collection of photographs that date back to the early 20th century.
