The primary use of this blog is to act as a daily log of my activities as a practicum student at The Akron Art Museum.

Today was more of the same. I continued to process to the exhibition collection. I'm up the the early 21st century so I'm almost done!Tomorrow I should be able to finish the processing and arrangement.
I received my M.L.I.S. from Kent State University with a concentration in Archival Administration.
Since the completion of my M.L.I.S. I have constructed a digital repository for Cleveland State University, volunteered at the Hudson Historical Society and traced my genealogy back to slavery using census records and slave registers.
Currently, I am working at the Mayme A. Clayton Library & Museum where I am processing Mayme Clayton’s personal papers, implementing cloud computing as a method of digital archives management, and digitizing a collection of photographs that date back to the early 20th century.
